Michael has previously lived in South America for two (2) years and is fluent in Spanish. Since returning to the United States, he has consistently used his bi-lingual skills to help those around him. Specifically, he has been practicing immigration law for ten (10) years and has been helping others obtain legal status and deferred action. The work he has done has kept many families together during a time where his clients faced being separated from their loved ones and when it appeared there were no options for them

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University Law School in 2010 with a Certificate in Business and Transactional Law with Distinction.

In law school, Michael frequented the Dean’s List and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was a legal intern with Washburn’s Law Clinic in both Civil Litigation and Small Business and Transactional Law.

Michael received his Master of Laws at the University of Georgia School of Law.

Michael obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. While attending school, he interned with SUU’s Public Safety Office. He earned his Master’s of Science in Security Management while working full-time as the Head of Security at a Target store.

In addition to practicing law, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys teaching. Michael previously taught immigration law and other courses as an adjunct faculty instructor at Concordia University School of Law.

In 2006, Raquel earned her Certificate of Completion in the Legal Assistant program at Academy of Professional Careers in Boise, Idaho and started work immediately in the legal field.

With the last 10 years of her career focused on immigration law, Raquel has passionately worked with clients to achieve their dreams of residing in the United States legally. As the daughter of immigrant parents, Raquel is bi-lingual and has an intimate understanding and appreciation of what it takes to become a resident and citizen of the United States of America.

Raquel’s primary goal is to provide the best client experience, so that each client feels comfortable throughout the immigration process and understands the process every step of the way. She is a firm believer that every client deserves to know the details of their case and expects them to actively participate in their matter.

In her free time, Raquel enjoys spending time with her family, watching documentaries, cooking and is always looking for new outdoor adventures.
